Overview
Upstash adds Redis-compatible storage to an application without requiring you to manage a Redis process. It is a practical companion to an API host when you need counters, a cache or rate-limiting state rather than relational queries.
Use the current pricing page for quotas: the FAQ still references an older daily request allowance. This listing describes the account-owned Free database, not the separate anonymous quick-start database that expires unless claimed. Inactivity archiving also means a free endpoint should not be treated as an unattended permanent store.
